Recap of Qwickly Symposium

June 20, 2024

That's a wrap for Qwickly Symposium 2024!

If you missed this year's Qwickly Symposium, (Thursday, June 13th, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM), don't worry! Get the scoop on all the exciting new features unveiled, from Qwickly Attendance's time-tracking capabilities to Qwickly Jot's soon-to-be revamped user interface. See more information below.

Qwickly Attendance Pro has finally released its long-awaited time tracking tool. Instructors can continue using their preferred attendance methods while the software calculates the amount of class time each student participated in. This data is displayed in the student records and can be viewed by both instructors and students.

Additionally, Qwickly Course Tools announced a new SMS text messaging. This feature allows instructors to send important course alerts directly to students' mobile devices, boosting communication efficiency. Students who have not opted in to receiving SMS text messages will receive an email containing the information.

Qwickly Jot is also receiving a major update. The update will include a new, modern user interface, left-handed navigation, instructor markup capabilities, and multilingual support. Learn more about these updates here

Finally, Qwickly Attendance Plus and Pro have enhanced their absence limits feature. Instructors can now set the number of absences allowed by students before they are notified or flagged. They can also customize email notifications that are sent to students who reach their absence limits.
